1. Application of unpowered roller. The unpowered roller needs to rely on manpower or the gravity of the goods to convey. The conveying interval of the roller line is generally short and is usually used to transport the goods with a flat bottom. If the goods with irregular shapes need to be transported, they should be placed in pallets or transport boxes for conveying.
2. Application of power roller. The power roller can also be called a chain drive, because it needs to rely on the power output of the motor to transport items, so it is called a power roller. The application of power roller in industry is often used for the transportation of food, packaging, electrical appliances and other goods.
In the power drum, according to the different requirements of conveying goods, it can be divided into transmission drum, redirection drum, accumulation drum, etc.
1) Drive roller. This kind of roller can meet the requirements of linear or arc route transportation of goods.
2) Redirection roller. The redirection roller is used to change the running direction of the conveyor belt, which can meet the needs of sorting items and changing the transportation route.
3) Accumulation roller. Because in the process of transportation, there is often excessive accumulation of goods, and the continuous rotation of the roller on the conveyor belt will be friction with the goods, resulting in wear and tear of the goods. Accumulation roller can be a good solution to this problem. The roller body of the accumulation roller can stop rotating with the accumulation of goods, and because the connection between the accumulation roller and the driving gear is different from other rollers, the whole conveyor belt will not be affected by the accumulation roller and continue to run.
