In our daily life and work, we are exposed to or see static electricity at any time. For example, when we take off our clothes and go to bed at night, we will hear crackling sounds, and we can also see blue light in a dark environment; when we get off the taxi and close the door manually, the fingers suddenly have a needle-like pain, which is caused by static electricity. Of course, in the logistics transportation industry, the commonly used electric roller conveyor line also has static electricity. How does static electricity come into being?
In our daily life and work, we are exposed to or see static electricity at any time. For example, when we take off our clothes and go to bed at night, we will hear crackling sounds, and we can also see blue light in a dark environment; when we get off the taxi and close the door manually, the fingers suddenly have a needle-like pain, which is caused by static electricity. Of course, in the logistics transportation industry, the commonly used electric roller conveyor line also has static electricity. How does static electricity come into being?
We all know that triboelectric, any two objects contact and then separated, you can generate static electricity, and the better the insulation of the material, the easier it is to generate static electricity. In the electric roller conveyor line, there are two conditions for the roller to generate static electricity:
1. There is friction between the roller and the conveyed object;
2. The roller is insulated from the conveying material and the roller is not conductive to the ground. When other conductors are in contact with the roller, the electricity will be generated due to the neutralization of the charge.
Static electricity is a normal natural physical phenomenon and cannot be avoided. When the charge of static electricity accumulates more, it will cause greater harm in electrostatic discharge (ESD), such:
1. High voltage electrostatic discharge causes electric shock, endangering personal safety;
2, electrostatic discharge can cause electronic equipment failure or misoperation, causing electromagnetic interference;
3, breakdown of integrated circuits and precision electronic components, or to promote the aging of components, reduce the production yield;
4, in the flammable and explosive environment is very easy to explode and fire.
